N.C. Part 11- Hardcastle Hot dogs

After the after party My good pal Jeremy Hardcastle invited Micah, Philo, Annie, and I over to his crib for home made hot dogs. Holy shit! Dude made the best dawg I've ever had in my life. He only uses prime cuts of local beef and pork, and cases them all himself. Pretty much all the side ingredients he's using are homemade, too. I'm trying to tell ya'll, bacon wrapped hot dogs with homemade chilli, beer cheese, mustard, and jalapenos at 3 in the a.m. Hot damn! This guy is a seriously talented chef, I used to work with him at Table and I remember when he first started making these things, and hadn't perfected the recipe. Let me just say, he got that bitch where it needs to be. Anyhow, look out for him soon to be killing the late night hot dog stand game, as soon as the city wises up and gives him the proper permits. Hardcastle Hot dogs coming soon to your mouth!

Alexander Spit "Beat For The Street" Al Lover Remix

My man Alexander Spit has got a new record coming out, a show next week, and a hot single on i-tunes right now. Dude is killin the game for sure! He sent out an accapella version of one of his singles "Beat For The Street" for fools to make remixes of. Here's the version that I came up with. I'm pretty pumped on it. Make sure to catch him live at Slim's Friday Sept. 4th if you're in the bay area. Don't sleep.

N.C. Part 10- "Hot Stuff Tattoo" Grand Opening

My homie Danny Reed had a grand opening party for his Tattoo shop "Hot Stuff" while I was back home, and I was lucky enough to swing through. It was a great time, free beer, great food (compliments of "The Admiral"), and lots of walking, breathing canvases to view. This dude has skills and I would recommend him for anyone looking to get any tattoo from a tramp stamp butterfly on your lower back to an intricate, full body yakuza type joint. This dude can do it all with ease, though I'm sure he'd try to talk you out of the butterfly, or at least convince you to put a big dick on it. Check the links.

Aquadust Negative Space Free Download

This is going to sound stupid and romantic, but to me this whole free music at your finger tips via the internet thing is pretty awesome. Not because you can get whatever you want without paying for it, but because I see it taking things back to the essence. I like to think it will return music to where it was before big industry crapped all over it. Returning it to the core of what it was and is supposed to be about, community, oral tradition, artistry, blah blah blah. I know this won't happen, but whatever, I like to overanalyze things. I'm all for fools getting their paper right, but it's really all about the music and the act of sharing your creation, in my opinion. That being said, this is an Instrumental album that I put out myself around 2007. It's not mastered and is pretty jenky, but I love it and hope you will too. So have it for free, I'm sick of trying to make money off of this shit. Just listen to it. Download it free HERE.

Bloods and Crips: Made In America

Alright folks, this is some serious shit. You have to watch this documentary, it is the realest thing I've seen in a long time. It's a history of the infamous Bloods and Crips gang culture in Los Angeles, and is directed by Stacy Peralta who also did the "Dogtown Z-Boys" and "Riding Giants" films. We all know things are messed up down there in south central, but this is a truly moving and insightful film. Please click the link to watch the whole film HERE, or go watch it in the theatre asap. The trailer alone made me tear up. It's incredibly sad the reality these people are forced to live. In my opinion every american needs to see this film. This shit has been swept under the rug for too long, but I digress.
